Non ho più parole ne voce credo che tutto l'isolato del mio paese abbia scoperto il tiro con l'arco grazie alle mie urla.
Non ho più aggettivi per definire questa medaglia.
Or ora sono stato al telefono con Chris che non sapeva da dove cominciare per la contetezza.
PS doveva andare al campo ad allenarsi... (con calma se no và a sbattere per l'euforia).
Abbiamo calcolato che per Pechino avrà 47, e dopo l'exploit di Yamamoto ormai e lanciato...

Men's Individual : GALIAZZO wins gold for Italy 19 Aug. 2004
ATHENS, 19 August - Marco GALIAZZO (ITA) beat Hiroshi YAMAMOTO (JAP) by two points to win the Men’s Individual Archery gold medal at the Panathinaiko Stadium on Thursday 19 August.
GALIAZZO, 21, became the first ever Italian to win an archery gold medal at the Olympic Games in defeating YAMAMOTO 111-109.
The 42-year-old YAMAMOTO equalled the Olympic record in the semifinal with 115 points from his 12 arrows but he could not repeat this form in the final.
In the Gold Medal Match YAMAMOTO lead 28-27 after three arrows but was one behind after six as GALIAZZO shot 10-9-10.
YAMAMOTO then hit an eight with his eighth arrow to allow the Italian to open up a crucial two-point gap which he was never able to close. GALIAZZO sealed the victory by hitting the nine-ring with his final arrow.
This is the 21-year-old’s first Olympic Games and the victory caps off an impressive year in which he also won the Individual competition at the European Championships.
He has improved significantly since 2003 when he finished only 49th in the World Championships.
The silver medal was YAMAMOTO’s second Olympic medal, the first was a bronze in the 1984 Olympic Games.
