Sono sorti alcuni dubbi interpretativi sulla corretta dizione di quanto accade se in un olympic round (o match round) uno si ritrova senza avversario.
Il regolamento FITA stabilisce che il concorrente senza avversario beneficia di un "bye" (pronunciato bai), al plurale "byes" (pronunciato baiz).
Alcune persone lo hanno trasformato in "bay" (pronunciato bei), fonte di equivoci nel caso il concorrente non fosse un adone, e comunque potrebbe far credere che il turno sia stato messo all'asta su internet.
Ma se uno tira veramente male, beneficia di un "bau"?

Se la matematica non m'inganna, il rischio arriva a 256 (integer/byte - superato) e 65536 (integer/word - ancora troppo lontano) a 1000 non corrispondono unità informatiche. Al limite 1024, ma non è un multiplo di un byte...
