MICHELE FRANGILLI

Son of Vittorio Frangilli and Maria Paola Mignolli, was born in Gallarate the 1st of May, 1976. He has got his first bow when he was five, but his first official competition has been the 4th of May, 1986, during the 900 Round of the Cockerel in Sumirago (VA).
His curriculum since then is impressive, year after year, up to the Atlanta Olimpic Games in 1996 when he qualifies sixth, establishes two new Olimpic Records and gets the Bronze Medal in the Team Event with Andrea Parenti and Matteo Bisiani, reaching then, for the first time at the end of July, 1998, the first place in the FITA World Ranking List.
He qualifies nineth at the Sydney Olympic Games 2000, but this time the Team medal, with Matteo Bisiani and Ilario Di Buo', is of Silver metal.

On July 28, 2012 during Olympic Games in London he conquers the Team Gold medal with Mauro Nespoli and Marco Galiazzo, shooting the last winning arrow into the 10 ring.

He his surely the best archer grown up to now in our Club COMPAGNIA ARCIERI MONICA.
