Sport Arco e Frecce CAM organizes every year several competitions that are already become "Classics" in the Italian and International archery world.

Open  18 mt. World Indoor Tournament - Castellanza (VA), 11 Marzo 2001
COMPETITION CANCELLED
A traditional 18 mt indoor tournament open to all archers that would like to try to shoot in the same condition of the participants to the World Indoor Championships and toghether with many of them.
The competition has been cancelled as of the change of dates and location of the championships.

II  50 MT MATCH ROUND Tournament - Gallarate, 29 April  2001
An experimental competition approved by FITA, in itssecond edition. Matches at 50 mt on 122 cm targets, but without any elimination.

XXII 900 Round "Cockerel Tournament" - Gallarate (VA), 1st  May 2001
The most Classical and Famous of our competitions.
The tournaments gets his name from the elimination round that is held at the end of the official 900 round competition and is shot using special rules on special targets with three cockerels designed on them, and that gets inspiration from the Cock, that is the official symbol of the town of Gallarate. 131 participants with Italian Absolute Women Olympic Bow record for our Elena Maffioli and Irene Franchini winning the tournament of the Cockerel over Michele Frangilli.

STUDENTS GAMES  2001 - VARESE PROVINCE PHASE - Gallarate, 5 May 2001
The  Students Games of the Varese Province have been back to the Garden 2 Sport Centre after two years.

X   FITA Star and I Olympic Round Tournament- Olgiate Olona (VA), 1-2 September 2001
Again on the  beautiful ground of the Olgiate Olona Athletic track,  the most classical competition: the  FITA , shot also this time from short to long distances. Two distancies on Saturday afternoon and two distancies on Sunday morning. Olympic Round for the first 16 on Sunday afternoon. 153 participants, five new Italian Compound Records for an incredible success.

XIII 25 Mt Tournament - Gallarate (VA), 24 and 25 November 2001
Traditional Indoor at 25 mt. on 3 groups  for all classes and divisions, in the new sport hall of Via Praderio. About 150 participants with an Italian record for  Bare Bow Cadet Girl Team and the  25 mt. Indoor World Record of Michele Frangilli with 598 punti.
