CAM organizes every year several competitions that are already become "Classics" in the Italian and International archery world.

III  50 MT MATCH ROUND Tournament - Casorate Sempione (VA), 28 April  2002
An Club competition approved by FITA, in its third edition. Matches at 50 mt on 122 cm targets, but without any elimination. 43 participants in a cold day, but with very good scores.

XXIII 900 Round "Cockerel Tournament" - Casorate Sempione (VA), 1st  May 2002
The most Classical and Famous of our competitions.
The tournaments gets his name from the elimination round that is held at the end of the official 900 round competition and is shot using special rules on special targets with three cockerels designed on them, and that gets inspiration from the Cock, that is the official symbol of the town of Gallarate. 116 participants with Elena Maffioli equalling her italian Olympic Women record, established during 2001 edition, and Irene Franchini of  Arcieri Bismantova beating Michele Frangilli in the final of the tournament of the Cockerel for the second consecutive year.

Students Games of the Varese Province  - Viggiu' (VA), 18 May  2002
In cooperation with the Arcieri Valceresio Club - 04/115. 18 Partipants form 5 clubs of the province.

XI   FITA Star and II Olympic Round Tournament- Olgiate Olona (VA), 31 August and 1 September 2002
Again on the  beautiful ground of the Olgiate Olona Athletic track,  the most classical competition: the  FITA , shot also this time from short to long distances. Two distancies on Saturday afternoon and two distancies on Sunday morning. Olympic Round for the top 16 on Sunday afternoon. Beutiful wether, with just a short shower on the semi finals of the Olympic Round. 161 participants from all Italy and from other countries. Once again, plenty of Italian and European Records.

XIV 25 Mt Tournament - Gallarate (VA), 16 and 17 November 2002
Traditional Indoor at 25 mt. on 3 groups  for all classes and divisions, in the new sport hall of Via Praderio. 152 participants, one possible world record and our Michele Frangilli winning the absolute prize for both Olympic and Compound bows.

The VII  International 24 Hours  Sport Arco e Frecce C.A.M. - Castellanza (VA), 7 and 8 December 2002 - will NOT take place
as of no available place. We hope to get back to our tradion in 2003.
